Where It All Started

Ever wondered how my love for travelling started? My first experience with traveling abroad was to Hong Kong with my family back in October 2011. Since then, I knew in my heart that it’s going to be a part of my life forever. For Kent and me, it was our first trip together too and my first time to bring around my first and only DSLR camera. So many firsts, right? Looking back, I’m glad to have captured some of the best moments of our trip.

May I present: HONG KONG, A Photo Diary.

First glimpse of the skyscrapers.

We arrived at the dead of night so we ended up eating at the only open convenience store near our hotel. Here’s Papa and Kent eating their noodles.

How I’ve always envisioned Hong Kong to be – colorful and alive.

Kent being so sleepy still. We’re on our tour bus for a city tour.

For a first-timer like me, I was instantly fascinated with the city.

Say hello to my folks!

Sandwiched between the two most important people in my life.

Here’s a skinny-looking me at Victoria Harbour. Look at how thin I was.

It was Kent’s first time as well.

Avenue of Stars, 2011.

Avenue of Stars, 2011.

Hong Kong’s Jumbo Floating Restaurant looks pretty massive.

Enjoying ourselves at the Sampan Boat Ride.

And this is where all the magic happens. Finally the cherry on top, we’re at the happiest place on earth.

Oh Mickey you’re so fine!

Papa with his future son-in-law.

Rain or shine, nothing’s gonna stop me from having the best time here!

Kent’s too cute in this photo!

Fluffy!

Obligatory shot with Buzz! And yes, we’re a fan of couple shirts.

Carousels are my favorite. (heart eyes)

Somewhere in the jungle.

That time when the peace sign was cool.

This is how a childhood dream come true looks like.

So happy we went on this trip together.

Can’t be more thankful enough.

And thankful to this guy too.

Six years and twelve countries later, we’re still dreaming and exploring the world together.

To be continued…

Those shirts were our very first, probably our favorite. 😍 Artwork makes the best statement shirts, we have like 3 sets of couple shirts from that brand. Hehehe. And yes, we love John and Yoko too.
