What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever been?

20/20: Volume I These days have been lazy and slow, just the way I like them. Staying at home for the last few days, I enjoyed just being with family and spending rainy afternoons with a good book or old movie. Today, I went through my old stuff again (diaries, slumbooks, letters) like I always did when I’m home. Because I felt nostalgic and all mushy, and because I’ve recently come across blog posts with the author answering random questions about themselves, I say why not try  ...

What’s next for us?

Life Update // May-August 2017 It’s been a few months since I last wrote a life update post. I failed at creating weekly updates through my Over 52 Series like I promised (which was supposed to be a bullet form list of how my week went, mini adventures here and there). Sad to say, I gotta have to let go of this one from here onwards. I don’t know, maybe I got lazy in between days. Maybe I got sidetracked with work and other stuff. Or maybe I just got uninspired to write about  ...

6-18/52

Hey there! I’ve been failing miserably at doing weekly posts when I promised to do so. So for my Over 52 series, here’s a bit of backtracking for the past 3 months. February (Week 6-9) 1. Binge-watched two of Netflix’s original series: Santa Clarita Diet, which stars Drew Barrymore as the undead and Timothy Olyphant as the ever supportive husband. Can I just say that I absolutely looooove this series! The cast ensemble has a totally wacky chemistry that makes the series so  ...

3, 4 and 5/52

Okay, remember when I told you that I suck at making weekly posts as I am lazy as a cow? Hate to say it but I told you so. In the events leading to my absence, I came up with the idea of compressing those three weeks worth of stories and happy thoughts to share in a single post (because why not?). Saves a lot of space and I don’t really want to bore you much further with three separate entries, now would I? 3/52: 1. Going loco over indie song playlists on YouTube, which I guess sums  ...

2/52

Hello, earthlings! I know, I know. I’m late to post this yet again. Here’s my week’s highlights for Week 2/52. 1. Two days before Janice’s flight, we bonded over TGIF’s loaded potato twisters and riblets. That was a much needed gastronomic delight. So long overdue and the best part of my week I should say. 2. Finally watched The Girl on the Train. I had mixed feelings about it so to speak. I clearly don’t know if I side with the book or movie on this one.  ...

1/52

I’m starting a blog series called OVER 52, which will be a weekender post most likely, and the goal of which is to document the highlights of my week. It’s a series inspired by one of the many blogs I follow Brunch at Audrey’s. I’ve said in my Notes Page that I’ve let go of my Sunday Currently series as I’ve found it to be mainstream for my taste and I wanted something that’s more personal to me. And so this is gonna be like those Friday Happy  ...

Life Lately: Chapter 3

December is definitely my favorite month of the year; not only because of the month-long reunions and get-togethers, but because of the festive mood that everyone’s in, even on this side of the globe! (Yes, we’re that lucky! Yey!) It’s infectious! There are too many reasons to be joyous this season: malls are emblazoned with holiday decor, winter markets sprout here and there, the chilly weather that everyone’s waiting for is finally here, and who could rule out the  ...

Life Lately: Chapter 2

September, October and November came by like a breeze and before you know it, it’s almost wintertime. I didn’t go out as much as I would have wanted (for budget reasons) so I just did overtime duties on most of my days off and bummed around the house when I didn’t need to go to work. SEPTEMBER Ber months are here at last so it could only mean one thing – Christmas is just around the corner. I spent my days mostly scouting for ideas on Pinterest for this year’s  ...
